LMFAO es un dúo de electro pop formado en Los Ángeles, USA en 2006 por Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy, nacido el 3 de septiembre de 1975) y su sobrino SkyBlu (Skyler Gordy, nacido el 23 de agosto de 1986).

Su primer single titulado "I'm in Miami Trick" fue lanzado en diciembre de 2008 y alcanzó el número 51 en la lista de "Hot 100". Sus sencillos más exitosos son "La La La", "Sexy and I Know It", "Champagne Showers", "Shots" y, el más conocido, "Party Rock Anthem", el cual llegó a la posición máxima de la lista de Hot 100, desbancando a Pitbull con Ne-Yo, Afrojack y Nayer con "Give Me Everything", y en varios países alrededor del mundo, también logró los primeros lugares en las listas más sobresalientes. LMFAO es famoso por su estilo de mezclar Hip-Hop, Dance y unas letras desenfadadas que hablan de fiestas y alcohol con un toque humorístico. El grupo también se ha hecho famoso por adjudicarse sin méritos reales un estilo de baile popular en Australia y buena parte de Europa llamada "shuffle dance".
